Information collected through forms
When you send an enquiry, we collect the name, email address, business name (if supplied) and message you enter. If you use the project-intake form, we also collect the business type, selected package, project brief, optional photo-album link and referral information. We use this information to respond to you, assess a potential project, prepare or discuss a quote, and provide the services you ask about.
How form information is handled
Form submissions are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile to help prevent spam and abuse. Valid submissions are sent to Ink & Amber through Resend, our transactional email provider. The website and its serverless form endpoints are hosted by Vercel. These providers process information only as needed to operate their services and under their own terms and privacy documentation.
Analytics and technical information
The site uses Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to understand aggregate traffic and site performance. Vercel Web Analytics is configured as a privacy-focused, cookieless service; it provides anonymous aggregate information such as page views, device/browser type, general location, referrer and performance information. We do not use advertising pixels or a separate marketing-tracking service on this site. We also load fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive technical request information when your browser loads them.
Cookies
This site does not use a cookie-consent banner because its current analytics implementation is cookieless and no non-essential advertising or marketing cookies are intentionally set by Ink & Amber. Your browser may still use necessary technical storage for normal website operation, and third-party providers may process limited technical information when their services load. If the site adds non-essential cookies or tracking in future, this policy and the consent approach will be reviewed before that change is published.
Retention and sharing
We keep enquiry and project information only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, provide services, keep appropriate business records, resolve a question, or meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers needed to operate the website, email and requested services, or where required by law.
Your choices and POPIA
You may ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or raise an objection or concern about how it is used, subject to applicable law and any information we must keep. We handle personal information in line with the principles of South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), including using it for a clear purpose and keeping it appropriately protected. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the site or our services change. The current version and its update date will always appear on this page.
